Meet Attorney Brian Tierney

Brian Tierney is the first lawyer in his family. His father emigrated from Ireland to America in the 1960s, where he met Brian's mother and lived the American Dream. Brian's father was an electrician by trade, and his mother — still going strong — worked as a secretary at ComEd. It was his father who instilled in Brian the ferocious determination and ironclad work ethic that he brought from the old country of Ireland.

That blue-collar foundation shaped everything about how Brian practices law today. He understands what it means to work hard for what you have, and he fights just as hard to protect it for his clients.

Brian began working at a golf course at age thirteen and worked numerous jobs in various fields before becoming a lawyer. He was the lead singer of the acclaimed Chicago South Side heavy metal band Impulse Greed, rocking the stage at premiere venues throughout the Chicagoland area.

After his time on stage, Brian channeled that same passion and energy into the legal profession. Initially drawn to worker's rights and labor law — seeking to help workers like his parents and better the lot of working people — he took that fire with him into law school. During his studies, his interests evolved to transactional law and real estate, inspired by the outstanding professors he learned from.
